Joshelin Cheneyl Lab Home – Puppy Sales Agreement

Health & Wellness Guarantee

Joshelin Cheneyl Lab Home is committed to placing healthy, well-cared-for Labrador Retriever puppies with their new families. Each puppy receives age-appropriate vaccinations, deworming treatments, and appropriate care before leaving our home. The following health assurances apply:

a. Veterinary Examination

The Buyer agrees to have the puppy examined by a licensed veterinarian within seven (7) days of receiving the puppy. If the veterinarian identifies a serious congenital defect or significant underlying illness covered under this agreement, Joshelin Cheneyl Lab Home will provide a full refund of the adoption fee, including applicable transportation charges, provided that the puppy is returned as agreed.

b. Genetic Health Guarantee

If the puppy is subsequently diagnosed by a licensed veterinarian with a hereditary condition that substantially affects its quality of life, Joshelin Cheneyl Lab Home may, at its discretion, provide either a replacement puppy of comparable value or a refund of the full adoption fee, including applicable transportation expenses, upon the return of the affected puppy.

c. Communicable Diseases

If the puppy is diagnosed with a qualifying contagious or communicable disease within fourteen (14) days of arriving at the Buyer’s home, Joshelin Cheneyl Lab Home will provide a refund of the purchase price, including applicable shipping costs, provided the puppy is returned in accordance with the terms of this agreement.

Transportation & Delivery

a. Shipping

When transportation or shipping is required, the Buyer is responsible for all applicable transportation and delivery expenses. Joshelin Cheneyl Lab Home works with reputable pet transportation providers whenever available. Tracking and transportation information will be provided to the Buyer when applicable.

b. Pickup

Buyers who choose to collect their puppy in person are required to pay a non-refundable deposit of $475 at the time this agreement is accepted. Any remaining balance must be paid in full before or at the time of puppy pickup.

Cost & Payment

The total adoption or purchase fee must be paid in accordance with the agreed payment schedule before the puppy is delivered or released to the Buyer. For local pickup, a non-refundable $475 deposit is required when the agreement is entered into, with the remaining balance due upon collection of the puppy.

Buyer’s Responsibilities

The Buyer agrees to provide the puppy with a safe, loving, and appropriate lifelong home. This includes providing nutritious food, clean and fresh water, suitable shelter, regular exercise, socialization, training, and routine veterinary care.

The Buyer is also responsible for complying with all applicable local, state, and federal laws, regulations, licensing requirements, and pet ownership rules concerning the puppy.

Entire Agreement

This Puppy Sales Agreement constitutes the complete understanding between Joshelin Cheneyl Lab Home and the Buyer concerning the purchase or adoption of the puppy. Any modifications, additions, or amendments to this agreement must be made in writing and agreed upon by both parties.

By proceeding with the purchase or adoption of the puppy, the Buyer acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to the terms and conditions outlined in this agreement.
